On Living Legends and their absence on the tour circut lately…
“Living Legends is closing in on 15 years together,” rapper LuckyIam said. “We owe it to all the fans that have supported is for all these years. We haven’t done that many shows of late, because we all have our solo projects. “Now we’re coming back for some fun in Colorado. We’re excited to come back there. The last time we all played together was for a ski tradeshow there in January.”
On how their operation is unique…
“We have our own unique approach to what we do,” LuckyIam confirmed. “We do grassroots operations and we get really close to the fans. We really love what we do and we like to control our own destiny.” The Los Angeles MC explained.
When asked about growth among the Living Legends crew…
“The Living Legends sound has definitely grown up and that’s evident in our music. Now we want to involve more live instruments in our shows. We’ll be back in the studio together this winter — and then we have nationwide and world tours planned for the spring.”
Don’t miss the return of Living Legends at the Electric Avenue Music and Arts Festival. The rappers perform their special set on Saturday.

The third annual Roots picnic is upon us once again and Philladelphians will be treated to an ALL STAR lineup for the day, featuring The Roots, Vampire Weekend, Clipse, Mayer Hawthorne & The County, The Very Best, Jay Electronica, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Das Racist, The Foreign Exchange, Bajah + The Dry Eye Crew, Pattern Is Movement, and Money Making Jam Boyz.
