Oh No prepares 2 albums to follow Alchemist collab….

Oh No & Alchemist are teaming up for the collaborative group Gangrene, begining November 2nd with the Sawblade 12″ vinyl EP, and an album entitled Gutterwatter to be released November 22nd. While fans have already been treated to a couple dope videos and are anticipating the album, many have been wondering about some long rumored projects Oh No has mentioned over the years.

The G.O.D. Hour has learned that Oh No’s next release, which is nearing completion, will be “The Professionals” project with his brother and Stones Throw label mate Madlib. The collaboration is said to feature a fair amount of mic time for Madlib, who has strayed away from vocal appearances in recent years. The two will share production and vocal duties on the project, which is to be released in 2011 on Stones Throw Records.

To follow up on that, the younger of the Jackson brothers is also preparing a new solo album, entitled Ohnomite,
which is slated to feature guest appearances from DOOM and Sean Price, among others. As if that isn’t enough, a remix project of Guilty Simpson’s OJ Simpson album is under way as well as a followup to his 2010 V-Tech mixtape.

DOOM: Yea, that album is like 45% done. It came about when I got the deal to do this record and he was doing Fishscale at the time. It was just like, let’s get these projects out the way first. But later on this year, niggas’ll hear the Doom/Ghost shit. It’s raw as hell by the way. It’s about to be bonkers. You can’t even imagine.
